Hawaii to Hollywood - Dr. Sueda's Journey
Born and raised in 'Aiea, Hawai'i, Dr. Sueda attended Pomona College in Claremont, California, where she earned an undergraduate degree in biology before pursuing a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of California Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon her graduation, she completed an internship at the Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group in Ventura, California and returned to UC Davis to complete her residency in clinical animal behavior.
After relocating to Southern California full-time in 2006, Dr. Sueda founded and led Los Angeles' first veterinary behavior practice and has been helping pets and their people for almost 20 years. In addition to making appearances on TV, radio and podcasts, Dr. Sueda is a lecturer and author, contributing to numbers veterinary publications and books including Decoding Your Cat: The Ultimate Experts Explain Common Cat Behaviors and Reveal How to Prevent or Change Unwanted Ones and Behavior Problems of the Dog and Cat.

Dr. Sueda approaches life with curiosity whether she's cooking, crafting, reading, exploring Los Angeles, traveling with friends or family or simply sitting and observing the world.
